2. Ground Transport Nanny

The 'Ground Transport Nanny' services include  pick-up at our home and delivery to your door.  Ground Transport is a good option for you if you live in the eastern part of USA. We do not offer Ground Transport  west of the Mississippi. Ground Transport cost ($400-$1000) will depend on distance, fuel price, tolls, and how many other pups are riding in the same vehicle.  

3. Fly Your Puppy In-Home Cabin

Book a flight into one of our nearest airports (Scranton/AVP, Harrisburg/MDT, or Philadelphia/PHL), rent a car to drive to our farm for your puppy, and fly back with the puppy in the cabin under your seat. This usually affordable option allows you to meet us and reduces stress on the puppy. Check with your airline to  review their pet travel policies & requirements before booking your flight.  You will also need a small pet carrier that can fit under the airplane seat to keep your pup safely confined during take-off and landing.  

NOTE: This option is time-senstive since a puppy must be under 20 pounds and be small enough to fit in a very small under-seat crate. Typically, our Collie puppies will only be able to fly in-cabin between 8-9 weeks of age. 

4. Flight Nanny

A  professional flight nanny  can be hired to fly with your puppy in the airplane cabin and meet you in your nearest airport or else deliver the puppy to your door.  The price for this service is typically in the ball-park of $1100-1500. Delivery to your door would likely be more. This option is only available when the pup is 8-9 weeks old because of size requirements. 

5. American PetEmbark; Meet Your Puppy at the Airport

A  Professional Transport Nanny can be hired to book and  manage transport details for  your puppy's unaccompanied flight into your nearest large airport.  After you have made a date for the flight with one of our nannies and paid them for their service, they will book the flight and tell you when and where to meet your puppy in the airport. On the day of the flight,  your nanny will send photos of your pup when the pup leaves our home and once they have the pup checked in. (remember that until the pup is checked in, there is no guarantee of flight that day as flight logistics can change last minute). Puppy flights are temperature sensitive, therefore this option is not available throughout temperature extremes at any connection.  When you go to the airport, you will go to either the baggage claim or cargo terminal (depending on the airport) to meet your pup about 45-60 minutes after your pup's flight lands.  You will need to show your ID as proof that you are the designated person to receive the puppy.  The cost for this service is around $850 (price of flight can vary as it's based on weight) plus a $150 charge for an airline approved crate and veterinary clearance before the flight.
